Author Peter E. Sabella

Peter E. Sabella is an author whose work explores the intersections of faith, politics, conflict, peace, and the Holy Land. Born and raised in Jerusalem, he brings to his writing a perspective shaped by decades of firsthand experience with the religious, political, and cultural realities of the region.

 

Sabella holds a Master’s degree in Peace and Development Studies from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. His academic work examined American mediation in the Arab-Israeli conflict, particularly the approaches of Presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. He has also worked in international development and humanitarian programs and spent more than two decades guiding Christian pilgrims through Israel and the Palestinian Territories, interpreting the region’s biblical, historical, archaeological, and contemporary significance.

 

His books reflect these different dimensions of his experience. Closed for Renovation: On the Road to Emmaus invites readers on a spiritual journey through the Holy Land; Animal Globe uses allegory to explore power, identity, conflict, moral choice, and their consequences; and Daring to Deal! examines American presidential mediation and the continuing search for genuine peace in the Middle East.
